I go to a lot of conferences. Whether I’m presenting, catching one of my favorite speakers, or facilitating a group discussion, I have found myself in the confines of a conference routine more times than I can count.

Sometimes they blend together. Speakers, themes, and locations seem to meld together into one, big conference mush.
But there’s one conference that’s different. That gathering is called STORY.
STORY is an event I attend because of the sheer enjoyment of going. I never know what to expect. The presenters are always new, fresh, and different. It’s like a breath of fresh conference air. (They have a “Vibe Director” for Pete’s sake.)
To give you a taste of what STORY is about, I’ve partnered up with the good folks there to give away a STORY-themed author’s pack. Each pack includes two books from Steven Pressfield. I’ve got two to share and it’s super easy to win.
What do you have to do? Tweet or share on Facebook. That’s it. Here’s the nitty-gritty:
You’ve got a darn good chance at winning some free loot from a very, very good author. And there’s a little surprise waiting for you after you enter. (Don’t say I never gave you anything!)
Enter to win. Give it a shot. And I’ll see you at STORY.
PS – We’ll pick winners on Monday morning’s TOMM, so you have all weekend to enter!
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed at the decisions you face as a leader, you’re not alone. It’s not just you. The task of leadership in modern culture is so monumental, no one person can do it.
In fact, the “lone genius” is fast becoming a myth. Tesla, Edison, and Jobs were anomalies. Once-in-a-generation types. They made decisions in a world very much different than the one we live in.
Leadership, by necessity, is changing.
