- You guys have to read this book. WHY by Simon Sinek is one of the best businesses books I’ve come across. Right up there with $100 Startup. He approaches the process of building a business the right way by focusing on the WHY of your organization. Phenomenal read. Highly recommended.

- I went and visited my alma mater over the weekend. It was Homecoming and, as it were, I came. Forgive the crassness, but I had to text my wife after my friends and I visited our old fraternity house and found, shall we say, human waste on the floor. Can’t make this stuff up. They literally cannot help how disgusting they are. The best part? When I was their age, I was the same way. Ah, memories.
- Something has been bothering me this election season. Since there’s another debate tonight, I’ll mention it here. I watch the hashtags and monitor Facebook during the debates. Without fail, the supporters of one candidate seem to have some of the most vitriolic, mean-spirited, angry comments out there. These supporters also claim to be people of faith. I don’t get it. Someone help me make a connection here. Surely there are angry people on both sides of the debate, and I’m admittedly looking at this with a bias myself, but this pattern has been discernible for both debates so far.
